MetaCoin argues that mining needs to go beyond providing servers to users who are already on the blockchain network and are in focus. In addition, it has been determined that since mining requires such technical knowledge that only experts have, it cannot create sufficient resources to direct the future of blockchain technologies and meet the needs of the end user.

For this reason, the hybrid mining system Proof of Meta (PoM), exclusive to MetaChain, allows people to directly contribute to the whole ecosystem and lead the ecosystem – as well as systems that work directly integrated with the network – in both technical and social contexts.
